About this product
Silentnight's Middleton collection includes a practical base with a stylish merlin headboard and the Middleton memory mattress. It is an 800 pocket sprung mattress with a medium firm feel, great for protecting the back but not too firm so you can still sink into sleep with comfort. It features a layer of body moulding memory foam that responds to your temperature and spreads weight evenly to offer perfect pressure relief and cocooning comfort. **The piping detail may be white, or grey (as picture shown).
The set comes with a Merlin headboard from Silentnight which is a stunningly strutted piece that upholstered in fabric for pure luxury.
The padded headboard offers added comfort when sitting up in bed and is decoratively detailed with deep vertical lines and a sea shell shape for a contemporary twist on a classic design.

Came with marks on it
Both the mattress and bed base came with dirty marks on it. The mattress has a dirty black mark on it where it's obviously the plastic wrapping has been ripped and mishandled. The base of the bed where the velvet part is has what I can only guess is 2 big lots of white glue marks one of which is very visible. I've paid a lot of money for this and it should come in perfect condition. Apart from that everything seems to be ok with it and it's of good quality and will hopefully last a long time.

5* comfort
Bought 2 of these beds, so happy with them super comfortable and with hubby being quite a big chap took that into account with this particular bed. The velvet headboards and base make them look a lot more expensive than what they were as well. Delivery was excellent, text before delivery so I knew exactly when they were being delivered. Would definitely recommend this bed.

Single bed
Bought for my 7 year old. Mattress and headboard seem very good quality. Bed base and drawers are absolute rubbish. Had to exchange the base as the drawers in the first one to arrive were cracked and the bottom panel had popped out. Cheap, crappy ply wood type stuff which is a real shame because the rest of the bed is great. I’m not using the drawers to store anything as I’m sure the bottoms will pop out of them with even the smallest weight in them.

Fantastic Bed
Firstly, I would like to talk about the look and feel of the bed. The blue velvet puts up a nice feel of the bed and making it look magnificent. The blue suits it well. The features on the other hand are brilliant as well coming with a blue velvet headboard to match and a silentnight pocket memory grey tape mattress Which is extremely comfortable when sleeping in. The set up of the bed was easy too and the bed is also light, making it easy to move around and bring it up and down the stairs when needed. the headboard was also easy to put together. And of course the use of the bed. The first night sleeping in the bed was amazing, when I woke I felt fresh and I slept like a baby. I also suffer with sleeping problems and I had no problems going to sleep in this bed.

solid base, great mattress.
I bought this bed for my father-in-law who has always struggled with finding a bed that doesn't hurt his back. When it arrived it was in perfect condition and felt study as soon as it was put into place. It was easy to assemble and I could tell that the product was high in quality. The mattress is also extremely comfortable and has meant the first few nights of sleep he has had have been really good. the pictures make it look a little high which was a concern before it arrived, but it is a good height to get on and off, and the whole frame feels very solid. The drawers are actually quite spacious which again was something I was a little worried about before the bed arrived. the runners seem strong enough and I think they could cope with some decent weight of either clothes or personal belongings in them. I just felt that they could have benefitted being slightly deeper. That's only being picky though All in all, a very solid, sturdy and comfy bed with a mattress that is also very comfortable. would definitely recommend for a guest bedroom

"The drawers are on the same side of the divan bed.
The headboard can be fitted at either side of the base, so this will allow the customer to have the drawer facing whichever way suits."
