This Silentnight Middleton Kingsize Divan Bed provides a complete bedroom setup with a fabric base, upholstered headboard, and memory foam mattress. It's built for restful nights and comfortable mornings, whether you're reading before sleep or stretching out for a lazy Sunday. The 800 pocket sprung mattress has a medium firm feel that supports your back while staying comfortable enough to sink into. A layer of body moulding memory foam responds to your temperature and spreads weight evenly for pressure relief through the night.
The Merlin headboard is upholstered in fabric with deep vertical lines and a decorative sea shell shape detail. It's padded for added comfort when you sit up in bed to read or watch television. The fabric base sits on plastic castors for easy moving when you need to clean or rearrange. The mattress is a no-turn design, just rotate it regularly to maintain even wear. Headboard fixings are included for straightforward setup. Minimal assembly required with two people recommended.

Bad design
After receiving this bed and mattress I got to work fitting the headboard, though it says pierce here, the bottom fixings would not screw into the divan, I had to self drill the holes for the fixings and in the process the screws/bolts what ever you want to call them would not go all the way in to secure the headboard to the divan and I tried so hard that the plastic screws were damaged beyond repair. So tbh I'm definitely not happy with the product and I didn't send it back due to the fact I'd be told it was my fault. Waste of money š° š

Solid, well made furniture
This is a very good bed, made by a reputable company (Silentnight) and sol at a reasonable price from Argos. It is comfortable. The mattress is quite firm, although I quickly got used to it.

The headboard can be adjusted to the height of the mattress, as it needs to sit on top of the mattress.
