About this product
The Silentnight Middleton Single Divan Bed is a complete sleep set-up for smaller bedrooms or single sleepers. The set includes a grey fabric base, matching Milan headboard, and the Middleton memory pocket mattress. There's a layer of memory foam that moulds to your body's contours. 800 individual Mirapocket springs respond to your weight and movement. The springs are zoned to distribute weight evenly and support spinal alignment through the night. A quilted knit cover keeps the surface smooth. The medium-firm feel comes from the pocket springs and memory foam layer working together.
The grey fabric base has plastic castors for easy positioning and no storage. The Milan headboard attaches to the base with fixings included and adds height without taking up floor space. It's a single-sided mattress with a no-turn design, so rotate it head to toe regularly to even out wear. The pocket springs work independently, so movement on one part of the mattress doesn't affect the rest. Minimal assembly required, two people recommended.
Ideal for sink-in snoozers, this memory foam mattress gently hugs you to sleep, moulding with the contours of your body for soothing pressure relief. Sink into a blissful night's sleep with the cocooning nature of memory foam which is responsive and pressure relieving, back aches and pains will soothe away. Topped with a quilted finish, perfect for sleepers who prefer a smoother sleep surface and medium to firm feel.
This mattress is single sided, so make sure you rotate from head to toe regularly to get the most out of your mattress. Complete with a supportive, matching grey and stylish headboard included.

Faulty Base sent with bed
When opening out the silent night double bed one have of base is faulty. The stapels that are under the sheet of fabric on top of the bed are all sticking up, not been correctly stapeled. The drawer is faulty, big gap at side when closed, material at corner of drawer damaged and inside the drawer at one side warped and other side glued with gaps as a result when you clip both bases together there is a gap as one half is a reject. I have bought 4 of these exact beds in the past for all my rooms and never have i been sent one in this state. Can't believe it got past quality control. My daughter was without a bed for 3 weeks as we were decorating her room and this is her birthday present so we had no choice but to use it. Just hope the stapels don't damage the mattress through time. Paid the extra for 4 drawers aswell but can't use one. Would never buy another one. Not what you expect from a company SilentNight. Really disapointing

Comfy bed with headboard
The divan, headboard and mattress are great! I’ve ordered Silentnight beds before and the quality is great. However, on arrival one of the drawers was damaged, possibly in transit. Once I’d managed to get hold of someone from Argos customer services they did offer me an exchange for the entire divan.
