Good value
Exercise bike is comfortable, sturdy and works well. A bit tricky to assemble and quite heavy to fold up, but is good value for the price.

This exercise bike was tested by a well known consumer magazine as worth a look. It was discounted in the sale and has proved to be an excellent buy. Easy to assemble and folds for storage. A useful fitness item

Good quality at a reasonable price.
Collected it from my local Argos in Sainsburys so thankfully I was able to use a trolley as it is quite heavy. It was well packaged and easy to assemble. But I have a couple of criticisms re: the instruction leaflet: ‘Turn clockwise to assemble right and left pedal’ - correct for the right pedal but not the left so I tried anti-clockwise and it worked. Also the pedal straps were not pre-attached as on the diagram (or the Argos photo) and were made of thick plastic so it wasn’t easy to attach them, particularly as they were labelled incorrectly. The ‘left’ one fitted the right pedal and vice versa. It unfolds and folds easily so I can store out of the way when not in use. It is too heavy to lift so I tend to ‘walk’ it to move it to another room. It feels very stable during use although the saddle can be a bit uncomfortable for more than 30 minutes. So far I’m very pleased with it and would recommend this bike if you just want something for easy at-home exercise that’s not too strenuous.

I experienced exactly the same problem with this bike - Argos were not able to help but I was able to secure the services of a repairman who experienced great difficulty obtaining the part. Sadly the pedals did not hold up and I am now forced to replace this bike - Id like to replace with same model but I am apprehensive about an irreparable design fault.

Hi There.
Opti Folding Magnetic Exercise Bike:
Having checked the instructions, the bike is a manually operated bike. It does not need any power supply to work, only what the user puts in.
2 x AAA are the only batteries that are required with the bike. That is to operate the monitor.
The bike will require the moving parts to be lubricated with light oil periodically to prevent premature wear.
