Customers Say
Sturdy, foldable exercise bike with easy assembly and useful display for tracking exercise. Comfortable for short use, but many find the seat hard and recommend a padded cover. Good value for light to moderate workouts.

Great features and easy to use
I bought this after my cardiac rehabilitation finished to continue with exercise. The resistance dial is great and it's really comfortable and easy to use. The monitor for heart rate, calories, speed and time is a great bonus

Foldaway exercise bike.
Bought for use in conservatory as easy means of exercise for us as seniors. Box looked like it had been opened and I suspected that it might have been returned because it looked like some smaller parts that you would have expected to be in a separate bag. However, some of these parts are already in place as suggested by the manufacturer in the instructions. Relatively easy to set up and doesn't take long. Product is surprisingly sturdy and overall well -made for the price. Folds away easily and doesn't take up too much room. Only gripe is that the digital display seems to quickly drain the batteries otherwise would have given this 5 stars

Great Value Foldaway Exercise Bike
I bought this exercise after reading a favourable review in Which? Magazine. It suggested that it was an excellent choice for someone looking for a lighter weight, foldaway exercise bike. It was easy to set up and has a basic but useful data display which enables you to track your exercise via distance, speed, calorie expenditure and time. You can also adjust the level of resistance very easily. The seat is quite comfortable. I am quite small and have found a comfortable seat height, but it's probably not suitable for anyone over 6 feet.

Great exercise bike
I bought this to replace the exact same one that I’d had for a few years and just needed replaced after a lot of use. It’s really easy to assemble - I managed it by myself and found the instructions straightforward. I love how it folds up so it’s easy you store when not in use. It really doesn’t take up a lot of space in my flat. Comfort-wise, I’d say it’s okay but padded shorts definitely help because the saddle can be a bit hard after a while. I think it’s definitely value for money if you just want something basic to exercise with. The display isn’t too complicated although I wouldn’t take the calories burned or heart rate monitor very seriously. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it if you’re on a budget, just returning to exercise and want something that isn’t excessively loud and doesn’t take up too much space.

I experienced exactly the same problem with this bike - Argos were not able to help but I was able to secure the services of a repairman who experienced great difficulty obtaining the part. Sadly the pedals did not hold up and I am now forced to replace this bike - Id like to replace with same model but I am apprehensive about an irreparable design fault.

Thanks for using Q & A.
Hi There.
Opti Folding Magnetic Exercise Bike:
Having checked the instructions, the bike is a manually operated bike. It does not need any power supply to work, only what the user puts in.
2 x AAA are the only batteries that are required with the bike. That is to operate the monitor.
The bike will require the moving parts to be lubricated with light oil periodically to prevent premature wear.
