Missed opportunities
We are a household of Lego fans. This set was purchased for my daughter who is a fan of not only Lego but all of the despicable me films. Given this is the house, I just feel they have really missed an opportunity here to have an impressive set. Over the films, Grus house is seen in many aspects and so to basically incorporate so little of the many features, I feel lets Lego down and that’s not something I say lightly as I am invariably always very happy with the Lego sets. When I consider the cost of the set against what you get when you consider the house in the films, I do not feel this set provides good value for money. Again, that is not something I say lightly. We have collectively, thousands of pounds worth of Lego sets and this is probably the only one I’ve ever felt somewhat deflated by. That said, it was for my daughter and she likes it.

I think this is a great set especially the characters , it becomes even better when you get the other 2 sets to complete the mega minions

Fab for Lego and Despicable Me fans alike!
My children absolutely loved building this set! It took around 40 minutes, they are experienced builders though. Its pretty big so allow plenty of room for building and playing! We love the vibrant colours and attention to detail. As big Despicable Me fans, they've loved playing with it afterwards, using their imagination because we've not yet watched the film. I think they'll enjoy it even more once they've seen it! They particularly love that it includes all the family members plus 3 minions! They have minion figures from previous sets that are now a part of this set. My 2 young nieces have also joined in the play. They liked the zip line especially and that it had different rooms and they could put characters to bed when they were naughty!

Perfect for my 10 year old
My 10 year old completed this over 2 days. Took her a good few hours which entertained her perfectly! The instructions were clear enough that she didnt need any assistance from me. There are 2 sides to see of the house and there are extras too. Not mamy spares in the pack but everything was there so no need for spares.

Fun, sturdy, fab Lego set
My children love the minions and were over the moon with this Lego set, they have enjoyed piecing it together, they love everything about it from the buildings to the minions and characters, the bright colours and the movement allowing to play with it all. They took there time building and needed little to no help at all with the clear instructions. A really good, sturdy, fun Lego set
