Really lovely item. Brought for my sons birthday. But sadly 3 bits missing. 😢

All round a Great set for tweens/teens
This has been one of our favourite Lego sets to build but more than that to play with afterwards, it’s got so many ways to play with it and so many possibilities for imaginative play even for older kids. It took my daughter approx. 3 days which makes it good value for money I think. The gears etc add an extra element for older kids

Brilliant fun - lots of detail
This is a really great intricate model for kids to build. My daughter had loads of fun building this and particularly liked the additional vehicles and other elements, like the island. The storage area in the helicopter for the vehicles is a nice design feature. Overall it kept her busy for a few hours, with the best bit being that the instructions show the build in stages - so it doesn't have to be done in one go. Lots of fun.

My oldest loved it
My oldest loced making this! As always with lego the quality is brilliant ans the instructions are easy to follow. My son loves that the propellers actually spin and hes very proud of himself for making it by himself.

Incredible play value

Most fun I've had building LEGO in years!
LEGO City Jungle Explorer Helicopter at Base Camp is an incredibly exciting set, suitable for young builders and seasoned LEGO fans. With 881 pieces, including five LEGO minifigs, three gorilla figures (2 adults and a baby) and a spider figure, it's easy to immerse yourself in the jungle theme. The standout feature for me is obviously the helicopter with its working winch and synchronised twin rotors. The educational value of LEGO shines through with this rotor mechanism, which demonstrates how cogs intersecting at different angles can change the direction of a motion. It’s a brilliant addition to an already engaging build and shows the true ingenuity of LEGO sets. I would suggest paying close attention to the rotor cogs as you put them into place, as I mistakenly placed them upside down TWICE. Seeing the progress made after you complete each of the seven packs is incredibly satisfying. After the first two packs were finished I was already happy with how I thought things were going to turn out- but when I reached the final build, the set actually felt much larger and more impressive than I had anticipated. This particular set gave me the most enjoyment I've had building LEGO in years. In addition to the main helicopter, the set also includes a motorcycle, a swamp boat, a jungle base camp, and a multi-biome area of jungle. There is so much to do with this set, and that doesn't even include what can be accomplished if you decide to make your own thing (without the build guide). I would definitely recommend this set to LEGO fans who enjoy an easy-but-impressive build, and to parents who want their children to be engaged with toys they can learn from. I think this type of set, with all the moving parts, could help create and foster a love of mechanics.

You get so much to build with this one purchase!!
There is so much in this collection to build! Absolutely fantastic! There are a few small pieces which dont attach to anything so if transporting anywhere could get lost so that is best to keep in mind. Really enjoyed the different interactive movements on this piece, from spinning wheels to movable blades. Only critique would be the packaging is now paper (obviously more recycable friendly) but if doing this over several days it can be difficult to keep together. Overall it was such an enjoyable build to do together and much fun to play with once built. Very sturdy!

Wonderful Lego Design
This product is another masterpiece of Lego. Main part of the set is the helicopter which not only looks good and full of small features/details but also fun to build. My kids loved it. Lego instructions booklet is detailed as usual. Lego never disappointed with quality. One new thing is that Lego has changed packaging to paper bags.

Lego jungle
Really enjoyed building this Lego set it in two book parts it took me 2 half hours it was really easy to do no missing parts the bag are paper ones now witch is good it very easy to build and to follow the instructions

Great for young minds (and older ones).
Great fun for young minds. I have this to my nephew (who is autistic) as he loves lego! The one thing he really enjoys doing. Review from my brother is that the set is quite big with lots of small pieces. Both him and his young son has started building together over past few days, still not there yet, but whats been done is smart. His son is looking forward to it being complete as he can play 'jungle helicopters and rescue his dinosaurs. From this information, i can honestly say, its a big thumbs up. Obviously, its not just the young minds that would enjoy this, but any age. My brother certainly liking it at the age of 41 lol.
