About this product
The Noah Single Bed Frame and Kids Mattress gives you a sturdy place for your child to sleep that'll see them through from early years right into young adulthood. It's made with chunky solid pine and has a traditional shape that won't feel too babyish as they get older. The white finish keeps things simple and fresh, working with most bedroom styles. There's a Habitat Kids Rae Comfort Mattress included, that's a medium feel open coil type with 323 springs for proper support. The mattress has anti-allergy properties and a knit cover that's practical for young sleepers.
The frame's got wooden slats built in, so it's ready to use once you've put it together. It'll hold up to 100kg safely, so it's fine for adult use too if you need a guest bed later on. The bed's suitable for ages four and over, giving you years of use as they grow. Self-assembly's needed and two people are recommended to get it built. Regular mattress rotation keeps the support even over time. It comes with a one-year guarantee from the manufacturer.

The matress wasn’t what I was expecting
After reading several reviews, I expected the bed frame to come with the silent night matress, this wasn’t the case, it came with a habitat matress which was £64 cheaper and I felt the value for money wasn’t as advertised, the bed frame is solid and I’m happy with that but the mattress, I was expecting better quality, contacted Argos twice via email and still no response.

Very disappointing
Bought this bed for my 5-year old son. Put it together and the frame cracked within a couple of months. Customer service said it’s impossible to replace the part, had to replace the whole bed. I had to take it apart. The new bed arrived 2 weeks ago. I opened the box to build it and the frame is cracked again at the same place. At least I didn’t have to build it and then take it apart again. I have two small children and have virtually no free time for that! Sending it back (together with the under bed drawer I bought for it) and asking for a refund.

After speaking with a trundle bed supplier they would recommend a minimum clearance of 23cm from floor to the base of the single bed. As the height from the floor to the bottom of the frame of the Argos Home Aspley Single Bed Frame and Kids Mattress - White is 25cm, it should therefore fit.
