About this product
Featuring a large 1.7 litre capacity, make up to 8 cups on a single boil. The 3KW fast boil technology boils one cup in under 45 seconds. This kettle has a pull up lid for easy refilling, with a 360-degree base and soft touch handle so left or right handed users can comfortably pour drinks. Boil dry protection prevents over boiling if there isn't enough water to avoid long-term damage.
After boiling, the kettle switches off automatically for extra safety, while the on/off switch includes a light that illuminates when in use.

Looks great but flawed
Really slick looking but quite noisy. Hard to spot where the fill mark is. Also slow to pour probably because the spout is so small which leads to another issue in that if you tip it back after filling something hot water with blow back through the spout.

Good kettle, water level window oddly placed
Looked for a new kettle, read a lot of reviews and decided this was the one for us. It looks good, boils quickly and is reasonably quiet. Many reviews of other kettles said that the water level window leaks but a month in and all is well. The water level window is slightly obscured by the handle, so we tend to pop the lid off to check and fill the kettle. It’s quite heavy and when filled it’s heavier still. Doesn’t seem to produce huge clouds of steam. You do need to drain the lid from time to time, but if you get the angle right, it’s quick and easy. Overall, we’re very happy with our kettle.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Swan SK14610GRN Nordic Kettle - Grey: ''I can confirm the kettle does have a plastic viewing window, the filter is plastic, and all plastic used in our products is BPA free.
Unfortunately, we can not confirm whether or not the plastic is PFOAS, PTFE, PFAS free with 100% guarantee.''

The Swan SK14610GRN Nordic Kettle has a stainless steel body with a rubberized painting for a sleek, matte finish. The interior is also made of stainless steel, ensuring durability and a clean boil.
As for the viewing window, this model does not have a plastic viewing window. Instead, it features a minimalist design with a water level indicator inside the kettle.
