Just a great android phone that works well
Had for a couple of months now and very happy, everything I use works very well with no issues, camera easy to use with handy features that are easy to find for the general user, great for organising and listening to music collection.

Great Value Smartphone
This is my third Sony Xperia and I feel no reason to change. It does everything I want it to do and contains all the features I require. Only two points I would criticize . Firstly, I miss not having a notification LED on the front. I always thought it was helpful if could see if a call was missed or view charging status from a distance. Secondly, the camera function on this version is far more advanced than the previous model and with my ageing hands I find the operation quite fiddly. Still, with continued practice I am sure that I can work to improve my handling of the function. Overall, I think this is an excellent smartphone which offers great value for the price. I would recommend without hesitation.

You get what you pay for!
The Xperia 10IV was replacement from my previous Xperia V as the screen went. I didn't want to pay the extortionate amount for a contract with a silly tariff, so went for the Experia 10 out right. Phone is light, easy to use and navigate, good battery and sound quality is good. Transferring apps from old phone was easier. Shame a charger doesn't come as standard. Screen is clear, camera quality is good and the pictures seem similar to friends with iPhones, thought sure that wasn't Sony's intention. Has some annoying features, including when you close an app, the app button wobbles and the screen wont light up when touched, you have to keep using the side button/finger print sensor. The phone, like all phones, is full of pointless extras/sounds. Having to turn of sounds/vibrations before setting up. It is easy to use, hit then I've been using the Experia V for 5 years. But it wouldn't be much of a jump for anyone using an android OS. Phone feels more basic, but then it is!! Also like the case I got with it, which has a useful stand, though I don't feel as confident it will protect the phone, unlike the case I purchased the V.

To phone is performing well but I am having trouble with it cutting out when I'm in conversation and not working, when I try to call the person back it won't connect which Is very frustrating, I'm in conversation with the network provider at the moment about this problem to see if it a problem with my sim so I can't rule anything out, when I get an answer and the problem is with the phone itself then I will be looking to get a replacement until I have found an answer I will reserve judgement

Suitable phone that meets my requirements ok
So far the phone works great. It doesn't come with a charging cable though, which I thought was supposed to be included. I switched back to android/sony after 5 years and have noticed the following: Some positives that I like are the battery health feature, data usage warnings, high temperature prevention features, the headphone jack, the micro SD slot and that you can turn off the AI from scanning people's faces or pets in the photos app. I feel that every app on non-android phones have an android versions or suitable alternative apps. Otherwise you can use home screen shortcuts instead of apps that aren't on the store. The things I've noticed that I miss so far are that there's no built in weather app with Sony, you can't stack widgets on a Sony without installing a third party launcher that changes the android UI, Google assistant is not the best at recognising my accent, and the android auto UI seems a bit slow especially when you skip between songs. I will give 4 stars for ease of use due to the limitations on android auto and 4 stars for features due to the lack of a weather app and stackable widgets. But otherwise, I will give it 5 stars overall as it is a suitable phone that meets my requirements ok.

Not what I'd hoped
Purchased this phone a few months back after having the Sony Xperia iii for so many years and dropping it so many times even in the bath. On getting the new Sony Xperia vi I thought it would be better which in most respects it is but the phone signal and data reception appears to be much worse than my old devise and this is one of the necessary things in a phone for me, everything else I can't fault just like my old phone really.

Bought couple months back as an upgrade to previous Sony. Good compatibility to other Sony products. Great size and weight. Feature as per other Sony phones, camera good quality. Did have an issue with unresponsive screen last week but a re-start seems to have fixed.
