An honest watch that keeps it simple.
I bought this as a work horse, does what it say on the tin watch. And it pretty much does. Unfortunately the indigo stopped working within a few days. I returned it and Argos refunded with no faff what so ever as they could not replace it. I have since bought the digital version elsewhere and all is great with it. Love velcro straps, even if it is that it suits my thin wrists more than most. 100m water resistant iwas never going to be tested. I actually liked the look of the analogue version, it is slightly understated and clean looking. Which makes it stand out from other budget watches that look like they have bells a whistles. I like Timex, nostalgia and real world value speaks of an honest watch. You could easily spend double and get less.

Great casual watch
Great everyday watch. The Indiglo illumination is genuinely excellent, bright, clear, and very useful in low light. It’s also extremely lightweight, so you barely feel it on your wrist, which makes it perfect for daily wear. The only downside is the velcro strap. It’s comfortable and practical, but it looks quite casual and doesn’t pair well with smarter clothing.

Why I chose to buy another !!!
I already have the same watch, which I purchased over two years ago. It's still working great. I have not had any issues at all with it. It keeps excellent time & has the illumination feature which is useful in the dark. It is very light on the wrist & the strap is so easy to adjust. I'm so impressed with it I purchased another; just in case !!! Great watch, especially if you do any form of manual activities.

Yes, I replaced mine straight away - with a nato strap, as it happens. It has the normal sprung spindles. I can’t remember the spindle size off the top of my head but they are a pretty standard size.
I have this watch for 6 year , and I never change the battery .
Bought mine in October 2020 so it’s a bit early to tell.

Batteries can last approximately 2 years. Timex strongly recommends that a retailer or jeweller replace battery to prevent damage being caused. Battery type is on watch back. Prices will vary according to the retailer.

Yes, this watch does have a light up face, when you push the crown in, as soon as the crown is released it turns off. Both the hour and minute hand glow in the dark in the standard way. I hope this helps, as the store was unwilling to demonstrate when I bought mine.

This watch is described as having a green dial, although image 4 on the product page is used to illustrate the night-light, therefore the face would not be this luminous when the night-light is not in use.

Your Perpetual Calendar watch accurately keeps track of how many days are in each month. It also adjusts for leap years. The date on your watch (including the month and year) was preset at the factory to Eastern Standard Time, Greenwich Mean Time or Hong Kong Standard Time (depending on where you purchased your watch). You only need to adjust the time.

Hi,
To change the date on this model you need to pull the winder into the middle position so the hands do not move and then wind anticlockwise or clockwise until the correct date shows. Once set push the winder back in and all is set.
