Warped - Poor quality and returned for refund
I bought these based on the photos which appeared to show the ends as painted mdf. They're not like that all. The ends are dodgy - melamine style pieces stuck on. It got worse - both shelves were warped in two directions and they would have looked awful on the wall. Returned them for a refund and bought nice wooden picture shelves from a competitor. Maybe twice the price, but worth every penny.

It could be painted if using the correct paint as it's not lacquered, however in doing so this would void the warranty as it's classed as a modification.

The Jak 120cm Picture Rail - Black is only 8cm deep so if hung upside down we would not be able to guarantee safety as it depends on what the shelf is used for. Fixings shouldn't be a problem and the maximum weight to be supported would still be 3Kg.
