Cheap, low quality product
Cheap, low quality product I just don't understand why it was featured in Good Housekeeping guide. Paid advertising? The head is tiny in reality, in comparison to the huge one in the photo; trick photography... The brush rolls up hair tightly, no way to remove them easily; The dirt container is very small and fills up quickly; Emptying the dirt container is terrible, you open the lid, but the dirt is stuck there, wrapped up around the inner tube. To empty it you have to put your hand in, and did with your finger to pull everything out, breathing in the dust while doing it, as it's a messy job. It's quite loud and makes whining noises; Leaves wheel marks on the carpet when hoovering; Very easily sucks up rugs, bed spreads, wires, etc; when it catches on something, it won't let go; The container + motor + battery bit is too top heavy, and with the tiny brush you can't balance it upright very well; It also feels heavy during hoovering, for someone with arthritis it's not a good, and not very well balanced with the tiny brush. It's awkward, the removable parts get stuck when you try to remove a pipe or brush.

I love my Vax cleaner. It is easy to use, fairly light weight for an elderly lady such as myself and picks up every scrap of fluff and crumb. As I have previously owned a Vax I kept the old battery so now have a back up for when I need those few extra minutes of cleaning time.
