Its not the first one i have bought and so you know i am a big lover of the Tapo C200 i got this one in the Argos big red sale so saved a bit of money on it and its so easy to set up we use this one in the conservatory and it gives a good view inside and the garden outside if i need another one i would buy this model

This little Camera is absolutely amazing it is much much better than a camera that you stick to the window, it picks up everything that you want plus it tells you if it is a person or a large vehicle that is passing, it also automatically moves up and down and side to side if you set it but I only use that when I’m on holiday

Cheap does not mean nasty
Proof that the price is nothing to do with the quality. I have purchased 3 of these cameras. They are Alexa friendly and on top of that etelly friendly. I am a little upset with myself for origanally spending twice as much for a CCTV camera not even half as good.

The Tapo C200 requires a connection to a 2.4G WiFi network, and Wireless Security is required to be WPA/WPA2-PSK/WPA3.

The Tapo C210 requires Wi-Fi configuration via the app.
If you want to manage and view the camera in the app, the Tapo C210 needs to be constantly connected to Wi-Fi.
If you prefer to record only to the local SD card and don't need to manage or view the recordings in the app, simply configure the camera to a Wi-Fi hotspot, then set the detection and recording settings in the app. Afterward, disconnect the Wi-Fi connection, and your camera will record normally.
If you need to view the detected video, you need to remove the SD card and insert it into a PC, or reconnect the camera to Wi-Fi to make it online again in the app.
Alternatively, you can consider using SIM-enabled cameras such as the Tapo C501GW and Tapo C615G.

I can advise, the camera supports continuous 24/7 recording when a microSD card (up to 512GB) is installed. This feature can be enabled in the Tapo app under the recording settings. Cloud storage and event-based recording are also available, but for uninterrupted footage, local storage via microSD is recommended.
