Great Canon print quality and fantastic for photos
I bought this to replace an aging Epson multifunctional printer and as my printing volumes are now much lew these days i wanted a compact printer with individual inks and this cannon ink system with the two types of black (one just for black text documents) plus an extra colour for better photo printing seemed ideal. To be honest though I completely missed the fact that it didn't have a scanner Oops!

Good value for money
Great printer for what I paid for it. It does not have a scanner which I missed on the description and it can be temperamental like all printers. Connected to the WiFi with no issues and works fine.

Good Printer, But Reluctant to Join WiFi
Nothing wrong with the printer itself, works really well. However, getting it to join my home mesh Wi-Fi was a nightmare. This is my second printer of this type and both were extremely reluctant to join. The first solution (turn off 5Ghz network and join to 2.4Ghz network) wouldn't work the second time. Eventually I had to get it to join the guest network, it was then available on the main network, before turning off the guest network. Canon really do need to get their act together, the instructions and online help were absolutely useless. P.S. I worked in IT for many, many years...

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Canon PIXMA TS705A Wireless Inkjet Printer.
The front cassette is 105gsm mainly for plain paper, the back feed can take photo/creative papers up to 300gsm.

“ Since we do not manufacture edible ink or papers as this involves having to remove Canon components (the print head) and replace it, I am unable to comment on the compatibility of making this printer an edible printing machine. ”
