Customers Say
Effective portable air conditioner that cools small to medium rooms well, though it is noisy and the airflow direction is off-center. Some issues with hose length and water drainage reported.

Not cooling quickly
I bought this item over a month ago and I wasn't happy with it and I returned it. It wasn't cooling quickly and enough. It didn't have a warranty card in it which suggest that it may not be new. No instruction document about how to book for repair or who to call. The air from the product throws in a diagonal direction. So, you have to put the item in an awkward position to feel the air. My room is less than 26 sqm, still the air was not cooling

Collected this for our granddaughter.
My granddaughter unpacked it and the remote control was missing. Contacted the branch and was told they didn’t have any stock in the area. Contacted the manufacturer and had no success in getting a controller.

Not great
Compact but heavy so not easy to move around upstairs ,it is noisy as well ,hold only a small amount of water so needs emptying quite often ,hose is only 1,5 meters so has to go under windows to reach out side ,on high speed trips my fuse box but is old house, would not recommend buying this as the price does make it not worth it

Works well with a couple of quirks
Bought for the hot weather. Obviously. Decent price and quick delivery to store. Easy to setup and get working and in the main does what it says. Cools down a small to medium room. It’s loud. Even on low setting, not sure I could sleep with it on so we use it to cool the room before bed. It also has the bizarre grill mentioned in other reviews where it pumps out the air to the left of the unit. I guess it is not a fan per sey, it is meant to cool the room, so it still works. Instructions lacking on how and when to drain water. Use the rubber bung on the rear with a tray or bowl.

It’s an AC machine
We have used this on several occasions the last couple of weeks, first time AC users. Baring in mind we haven’t had a proper seal on our window just yet as we have outward opening windows (we used thick towels to fill gaps) - this thing has worked a treat. Excited to use it with our proper window sealing kit we’ve bought, I suspect output will be that bit better in terms of how many degrees the temp comes down. For info: we have a decent sized bedroom (a good 5 feet either side of our king size bed) and so far we get the room down a few degrees - although it definitely feels like more when you’re in it. Yes it’s loud but we don’t have any issues sleeping with it, including our baby. I’d rather that than sweating to death getting hot air blown at me by the fan. Also not sure why some people say it needs emptying all the time, we can have it on almost all night long and it’ll be fine - we just make sure to empty it for the following night.

Not so great for the price
This item is overpriced with Argos compare to Amazon £200 difference and it not working properly, you keep hearing airsound like bubbles. Will not recommend

Great compact little Unit
I bought a couple of weeks ago just in time for the hot weather and it works great for a medium size room, however it does blow out slightly from the left of the machine more than central and for some reason my LG TV remote seems to interfere with the unit.

Hello sarah,
I can advise the following for the Princess 9K Air Conditioning Unit:
Apologies, this wouldn't work in this way. You are best getting an automatic IR blaster connected to the temperature controller so that a it can turn it on and off for you based on temperature.
Thanks for using Q & A.
Hello there
The Princess 9K Air Conditioning Unit has to have to be put the large tube out of the window in order to let the hot air go out. However, there is also a small tube on the backside of the airconditioner that you can use to let the condensed water out of the unit. It is collected in a container within the airconditioner and has to be drained regularly
