Great drone package for the price!
I bought this for my Dad as I bought myself a Mini 5 Pro before Christmas and he wanted something to learn to fly with. This is ideal for anyone wanting to take their first steps with a drone. We did a fair bit of research and due to the reviews, prop guards, camera and sale price of this drone, he opted for it. I've had a hold of the drone and I actually really like the feel of it. It feels sturdy and well made. I don't know why but the name Flip had previously put me off. There's no reason to be put off. This is NOT a toy like any of DJI's drones. There was mention in YouTube reviews that it's louder than say my Mini 5 Pro and not as capable in breezy conditions. My Dad confirmed he didn't really notice the extra noise in comparison to my drone. However he did get some wind warnings and to be honest with it having prop guards, I'd expect it to struggle a little more with wind. But... He wasn't put off by this and the drone managed a perfect first flight for his first time. Up to 120 metres high and got some decent footage. He's 75 and he's taken to it so easily. For those buying drones it can be a bit of a minefield with changing rules etc. Basically get it registered with the CAA for a small fee per year. It's classed as a legacy drone so class UK0 as it's got a camera and it's under 250g. You'll need to pass a pretty simple test to get it registered. More common sense and showing you've brushed up on regulations/laws than anything else. That's all the boring stuff out the way so go and have fun with it. You can then go onto register with FPVUK and get an extremely useful membership with them that gives you public liability insurance, a forum for help and advice amongst many other perks. Oh and if you want it insured for theft and loss then Coverdrone do insurance and at the minute it's well under a tenner for this drone per month. All in all he is really happy with it and the prop guards give him peace of mind while he learns to fly more and more. One last thing... This package comes with the RC2 remote which was just a bonus as the screen is fitted in the remote, so no having to attach your phone to use it. The flight training in the remote is excellent to get top grips with flying it. 5 out of 5 from the both of us!

Cracking drone
My first drone, cheaper than from DJI's website. Bought it as a little hobby and to take more interesting pictures of my kids and days out. Only 1 problem with all the restrictions from the council, forestry comission and natural trust there is no where around me I can fly legally.
