Good quality and excellent heat options
Very happy with this heated blanket - I've always had one but read that they can deteriorate and become dangerous, so I chucked my 10 year old blanket and bought this as a replacement. This is a good size double, reaching from shoulders to toes and plenty of width. The controls are versatile, having 4 heat options. I find that setting it on either 1st or 2nd heat buttons, about 5 mins before getting into bed, plenty warm enough - but it is good to have the options of 3 and 4 should it be a particularly cold spell. A well made blanket from a reputable company - very happy with my purchase.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Silentnight Comfort Control Electric Underblanket - Kingsize: Our electric blankets are not thick, approximately 0.2cm. For extra comfort, the electric blanket can be covered with a protector/thin topper. All Silentnight products are safe to use with an electric blanket however other brands would need to be checked with the manufacturer directly.
