The brightness on this fan is shocking, a small candle would be better. The fans looks the business but really disappointed with the light brightness, even with a really bright bulbs.

Really moved air!
Took a bit of thinking about power supply, as it needs a permanent live for the remote to work, so not just an easy swap. Apart from that fabulous for the regular hot summers we are getting.

Fantastic fan for price
This is a really really good fan for the price. We bought one from b&q for double the price and this one beats it by far in looks, quality, quietness and ease of use. The light is dim but if it’s in a bedroom it’s plenty light for reading etc. bit like lamp strength. It is absolutely horrid to install so call your best electrician. Definitely not a DIY job and I’m an avid and experienced DIYer. Always fitted my own lights etc but I opened the box, read the instructions and decided not to even attempt it. The electrician managed but said it was a challenge for him. Well worth the trouble though. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous fan so modern only problem we had it was huge and to big for the b3droom and had clicking sound

Unfortunately this item was returned. Firstly putting it all together was difficult due to not enough space to easily fit fingers in to put this together. Once up the light it gave was ridiculous due to only one bulb inside and the light shade (bulb dome cover) was partially covered, rather than light being able to shine through the whole dome. Was a lovely looking fan, but in my opinion was not fit for purpose. The only use of this item is for a ceiling fan, if you can actually get past the difficulties of fitting it together. The manufacturer actually needs to put one together themselves to experience the difficulties with lack of space to fit fingers, to actually put it together.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the Argos Home Modern Remote Control Ceiling Fan - Black.
It is achievable. Our remote-control can be paired with countless receivers.
So, after the fans been installed, must be turned on simultaneously, and then pair the two receivers with one single remote-control.

Having checked I can see the receiver is placed through the ceiling bracket, on top of the shaft hat, in the cavity between the ceiling bracket & the ceiling.

The supplier has advised the following for the Modern Remote Control Ceiling Fan - Black:
This is to change modes. "The fan can be changed between Reverse mode and Forward mode. The Reverse mode (Winter setting) creates a gentle updraft to force warm air from the ceiling downwards. The Forward mode (Summer setting) creates a downward draft to direct the cool air downwards. Ensure the fan is switched off before changing the mode."
