Excellent customisable phone.
Having been impressed with recent Nokia phones, which were made my HMD, I felt confident that this would suit my needs. It's fully customisable, has very little in the way of pre-installed apps that you can't uninstall, or at least disable (although I wish they'd let users disable the FM Radio) and it doesn't everything you could need. Looks good too.

Poor Replacement for Nokias
I wanted a Nokia but I couldn't find any in sale in the UK and then I found out that HMD is a Nokia 'buy out' company who bought the rights from Microsoft. Well it's a very poor substitute! Although they are repairable phones, in that you can change parts such as broken screens and change cases, the feel quality of the phone is flimsy. It's operation isn't as sleek as my old Nokia 6.1 and it is clunkier to operate. On the plus side it's a good price for a 5G phone and it has decent storage and memory for ordinary daily use and the camera isn't bad at all.

This SIM Free HMD Fusion 5G 128GB Mobile Phone has an ingress protection rating of IP54.
This translates to partial protection from dust and particulates, and protection from splashing water. It is not protected against full immersion in water, so would not be considered waterproof.

The Fusion model Argos sells is 4GB, this model is for selected retailers only.
The 6GB and 8GB versions are available on the HMD website.
look on GSMAreana.com full specifications, it tells you full specifications about any phone, they is 4GB,6GB and 8Gb on HMD fusion, Ive looked into it and this is 4GB model and price is misleading they isnt any reduction in price they would be if it was 6GB ram as the price before reduction is what price the 6GB model is. I would of bought 1 had it been 6GB ram, and all reviews about this phone it seems to be by people whos been given phone free , in exchange for a positive review.

MicroSD card support up to:1 TB
RAM:6 GB
3 - Up to 4GB in 4GB variant, up to 6GB in 6GB variant, up to 8GB in 8GB variant & up to 12GB in 12GB variant. Using memory extension (virtual RAM) requires enough storage space. To protect the storage, memory extension is automatically and permanently disabled once 90% of the usage limit is reached. This can occur after 4 years of heavy usage.

On the basis of the answer by Jake, an Argos member of staff, I bought this phone assuming that it would indeed be 6GB RAM. Once I opened it and checked in Settings, however, it was confirmed as 4GB RAM. Since the box was opened, the local Argos jobsworth refused to accept a return -- despite the fact that it is incorrectly described -- so I am now trapped in the doom-loop of Argos customer-disservice ... Just avoid the bother by not buying it!
Had a look at the box this morning definitely a 4gb model which is very misleading as HMD only sell 6 and 8gb ones, you really need to check what your buying,
Hi Matt. This is the 4GB version sold at Argos only. Once again, HMD seem to be shipping lower end models to Argos, and leaving the standard 6GB and 8GB models for their online store and for other retailers only.
Argos and HMD did this with the previous Nokia G42 5G too. Which is a shame. 4GB ram is not enough to run apps smoothly in 2024 let alone 2025. So this 4GB model is not future proof and probably wont last a year before extreme slowdown becomes noticeable. Not worth the 200 price tag.
