I have checked you would not need an electrician for the Argos Home Beaded Light Shade - Clear.
I will pop the link below for the pendant required you would unscrew just below the black line on the pendant pop the shade on and screw the part back on and just pop in the bulb.

Not sure of exact weight without taking it down but it is very light. Certainly looks expensive and heavy though it's neither. Sorry I can't be more specific
