everyone should have one
Purchased as a present as we already have one. It's so good as long as you can get your head around sorting it on your mobile! Meat is cooked to your liking by setting the meat and cooked finish you require and it cooks to perfection!

Hi Hollie,
Yes the Meater Plus Wireless Meat Thermometer is waterproof and can be used in a slow cooker.
Thanks for using Q&A
Hello Paulie,
The supplier has advised the following for the Meater Plus Wireless Meat Thermometer:
"Yes, you can use the Meater Plus in the oven, and it is safe to do so. The Meater Plus is designed to withstand cooking temperatures of up to 212°F (100°C) on the probe itself, which makes it suitable for use in the oven, grill, or smoker. However, it's important to follow a few guidelines to ensure safe usage:
Placement of the Probe: The probe itself should be inserted into the meat, and the Meater Plus's wireless receiver can stay outside the oven, connected via Bluetooth. Ensure the probe is not in direct contact with any heating elements to prevent damage.
Oven Temperature: As long as the oven temperature doesn’t exceed the safe temperature range for the probe (around 212°F for continuous use), it should be safe. For higher temperatures, like broiling or extreme heat, it’s better to double-check with the manufacturer's instructions.
Avoid Direct Contact with Heat Sources: Make sure the probe is not touching the oven walls or heating elements, as this can cause overheating or even damage to the probe.
By using it in the oven, you can monitor the temperature of the food remotely, as the Meater Plus works via Bluetooth and has a range of about 100 meters (when not in a metal environment like an oven). For very high-temperature cooking (e.g., broiling), it might be better to verify its temperature tolerance directly with the manufacturer or product documentation."
Thank you for using Q&A.
