Bought a few weeks ago and it makes delicious coffee

Great at this price point.
For the money I’m happy with this machine. At the end of the day you can pay a lot more for a bean to cup, so for that reason I didn’t expect the best coffee ever. That said it makes a decent cup once you get it dialled in. I only drink americanos, so this machine is good as it has the hot water option, so I add hw first, then an espresso shot, and it’s fine. You can dial in the water temp, brew strength and amount of water added. I just used YouTube videos. My wife mainly drinks tea, so we ditched our kettle and use this for hot water instead, much more convenient. The water that goes into the machine is filtered, and the machine itself is really easy to clean. As stated, for the money you can’t go wrong.

Nice hot coffee and simple to use
I have had this coffee machine for a few weeks now and I really love it. I read some reviews saying it was too loud, but in my experience it’s actually quieter than my previous machine. I’m also very happy with the temperature of the coffee. The coffee grounds compact into pod-like cubes, which makes it a breeze to empty the container. I cannot comment on the milk frother as I haven’t used it yet. I also like the self-cleaning feature when the machine is turned on and off — it’s very convenient and helps keep everything fresh. My only small gripes are minor. If you just want hot water, it can splash slightly because the spout is quite high. Also, when you pull the tray out to empty the grounds, there is a square piece of plastic described as a splash cover. This also forms the front of the drawer, but instead of being attached, it simply slots in. I worry it could accidentally get broken, as the plastic doesn’t feel particularly strong. Overall, though, I’m really pleased with this machine and very happy with my purchase.

Messy
Used a different brand (& have had 2 in the last 10 years). My coffee machine had broken so I needed a new one. This model was on offer (at a similar price to the brand I've been using) so I assumed it was a better machine. It is not. It's the messiest machine I've ever used. Coffee produced is fine but I feel I will be having to buy a replacement (of the brand I know & trust) before long. A complete waste of good money in my opinion.

Awful experience
I bought it a 3 weeks ago, chose to collect from collection point, and it’s was in very damaged condition. Box was with scratches all around and holes. I took pictures straight away in shop, and I write 2 times complain to support centre they didn’t answer me. This was bought for birthday present and I didn’t had time to change it, awful experience. As a present , box should be in perfect condition, and not pressed like after fight, I’m disappointed

I can advise the following for the Philips 2200 Series Bean to Cup Coffee Machine - Black:
This does have the ability to change the level of water used when making the coffee, if you look at image 6/11 you can see a button showing the different fill levels of a cup. You would also need to have it on Coffee and not expresso.

This machine does not have a 'one touch' Americano setting, so you would need to brew an espresso shot then manually top it up with water yourself.
