Very good for controlling heating
Bery useful to be able to control the heating from the device and also ising the app.

Works, but not the best out there
I'm not impressed with Hive. The set-up instructions are just not sufficient. A boiler engineer whose installed dozens of them was still unclear on the method. We had to watch youtubers just to work out how to put the hub in pairing mode (hold what looks like the reset button on rear). Hive don't tell you this. Also, the '6 time slots' is misleading, as that includes slots where the timer is off, so really you've only got 3 time slots that it can be on, which is far too little. The Nest we had in a previously property had no limitation. It's hard to make a bespoke schedule which actually saves you money with such little flexibility. There are advanced features which you have to subscibe for. Again, we buy these to try and save money, not blow any savings and more on subscriptions. This model also has to connect to the modem with a wire - if you can find a wireless model, that would give you more flexibility as to where you can place the hub. It is functioning at least.

Hive thermostat
Been looking for a while to buy one and went out and got one. Easy to fit and the app makes it so much easier to control and look how long you have the heating on for, would highly recommend
