The LX50 can shred 9 sheets per pass into 4 x 37mm cross-cut particles, so you can be sure that your confidential documents have been shredded securely. The LX50 features a safety lock which prevents the machine from being accidentally activated. This paper shredder will shred continuously for up to 5 minutes before requiring 30 minutes to cool down. This shredders cutter will not only shred your documents, but can shred staples, paper clips and credit cards too. The LX50 features a 17-litre bin with a lift-off-head.

Bought this shredder after a failure with the old cheap one. Once oiled, this cut through my necessary files. This included my 1970s bongo mags. Managed the hirsute nature of the ladies with no problems.

Used a few times since purchased a few weeks ago and it shreds very well. Have kept the cutting blades lubricated as necessary after each time the waste bin is emptied. Very pleased the the item.

Now on my third shredder and quite happy with it. This is not too noisy and cuts small pieces of my not desperately secret or personal waste paper. I am sure there are quieter and more secure shredders but this serves me well for now.
