I’ve hooked it up to my laptop, and wow… every movie / song feels like a mini home-theatre experience. The size is perfect too—super sleek, super slim, and it fits effortlessly on a floating shelf. It connects via aux so can be used on almost anything, plug it in and your away. The only thing I could say that would make it better would be a little remote. I have the sound bar up full and use my tv remote to control the volume

The lack of Bluetooth/wireless connectivity holds it back, but again, given its price point, it's not a major issue. Its worth the money but I would say shop around look for deals and you could get a better quality bar with the wireless connectivity

Good gift for teenagers

It lights up when in use and is a great gift for a teenagers room. I wouldn't use this in the front room as a main sound bar as it is basic but good value for a kids room. Would make a good Christmas gift.

Great budget speaker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great budget soundbar very easy to set up in 2 minutes, turn volume up or down using the round knob at the front. Used it with TV and my son really likes it with his ps5 . The only negative is that there isn't an option to turn the lights off so really it would be a great present for gamers.

Apologies, this need to be turned on, but it is USB powered, so will turn on with connected PC, if left powered on when turned off. The volume control is its power controller, if you leave it turned to the volume you want it will turn on when the PC is on. You can turn the lights off on top of the soundbar.

The soundbar connects via a 3.5 mm headphone connection and requires a USB port for power. If your monitor or TV supports these connections, you can use the soundbar with the Xbox.''

“ The GXT 619 Thorne RGB Illuminated Soundbar can indeed work with the MSI G24C4 E2 Full HD 24" Curved VA Gaming Monitor, provided the monitor has a 3.5 mm headphone connection and a USB port available for power. The soundbar connects using a single AUX cable for sound and a USB cable for power. As long as these connections are available on the monitor, the customer should be able to enjoy the soundbar with it. ”
