This 4-in-1 seat starts as a rearward-facing option from birth to 18 kg (around 4 years), then converts to forward-facing from 9-36 kg (up to 12 years). The clever AutoAdjust side wings expand as the headrest moves up, providing a custom fit that grows with your child. With ISOFIX or seat belt installation options and six recline positions, it provides comfort and security for every journey.
With body support cushions for younger children and side impact protection, this seat prioritises comfort and safety. The 5-point harness has one-pull adjustment, and the removable cover makes cleaning easy after spills. Includes a cup holder and a 2-year manufacturer's guarantee.

Always gone to Joie as a default for car seats. We have a couple of spin 360s which are excellent. This one is also excellent. Easy to use and stylish in coal black. It's a bit of a beast in terms of weight and size so probably not entirely suitable for smaller vehicles but the more sizes the car seat the bigger they tend to be. This is a second car seat for my little girl and cost efficient as will last for years given the multi stage options. Great value for £120

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the Joie Everystage FX Group 0+/1/2/3 R44 ISOFIX Car Seat - Coal.
The Everystage FX can be reclined in Group 3, with a total of 6 recline positions available. ISOFIX is used only in forward-facing mode for Group 1, along with the top tether. For other groups, installation is done using the vehicle’s 3-point seatbelt. The ISOFIX arms are fixed to the base and are not used in rear-facing mode.

Yes this is how we have always used it, the seat belt slots between the foam coverings and the seat itself.
And then the seat belt can be used on its own without the car seat straps for the older kids
