It's screw fit gate. Two way opening and double locking system. One handed opening and locking. Height 73cm. Fits openings from 63.5 to 106cm. Safety barrier is suitable for use with children up to 24 months of age. It provides protection for them and peace of mind for you.

Well built and stylish safety gate
I took my time to read the instructions, measure twice using the templates, and fit once…. and it paid off - lovely looking sturdy safety gate that works with ease (using one hand and a foot) to separate my children, five big dogs and one cat. dogs. Does the job, looks good, and great value.

Solid structure, not super elegant
I was hoping for a more clear white wooden gate, but the lots of hols and drilled bits need covering up for a 'clean' look. You also have to take into account that the gate is two pieces put together when you drill the holes in the wall, otherwise it its up off-kilter. Second one i installed was certainly better because of it.

Very useful in non standard spaces.
My stairway is not a standard size and most baby gates won’t fit, so I was happy with this one which is easy to adjust to fit from a narrow entrance to a wider than average one. Also the wood looks better in my older home than the metal ones - It might be possible to paint it to match decor as well.

Bought as dog gate because we have 1yr old labour that like to chewing anything he can get in his mouth round like our newly wallpapered stairs it look so good for a few weeks It's doing it job in stopping him from doing any more damage

Excellent gate - recommended!
So far, I have installed five of these. They are a wee bit tricky (but not impossible) to install if there is a skirting board. Adults don't have much trouble in opening and closing them - I have not heard of young children getting through them to date.

No complaints, I'm glad I sought out a wooden stair gate instead of white metal because it looks so much better in my kitchen. Easy to assemble and is strong so will withstand the incoming puppy...

Very study safety gate
Perfect for what we wanted and very sturdy so we feel that our little one is secure. Very fiddly & confusing to install, could benefit from better instructions to clearly help in measuring up.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised Cuggl Natural Wooden Safety Gate:
This gate can be set up on the top of stairs. It comes with plastic wall plugs which are only suitable for use in masonry walls. Any other type of walls or wood you would need to purchase suitable wall plugs from your local DIY retailer.
Please make sure the wall plug and screw to fix components secure the gate in place.
