It's screw fit gate. If the safety barrier is used at the top of the stairs, it should not be positioned below the top level. Two way opening and double locking system. One handed opening and locking. Height 73cm. Fits openings from 63.5 to 106cm. Safety barrier is suitable for use with children up to 24 months of age. It provides protection for them and peace of mind for you.

Sturdy and relatively easy installation.
Relatively easy assembly, although you do require a drill with the correct drill bits (eg. masonry, wood, etc). Some additional wall plugs were required to secure it in our walls. Appears sturdy and one is able to open and close them with one hand, which is convenient.

Great Quality,go well with our oak staircase.
Bought two of the gates,fitted them could not get one to fit right because there is a minimum and maximum gap to leave at each side of the gate/to wall.The pre drilled adjustment holes did not suit,so I ended up drilling some additional holes in the gate.Good job i am a retired cabinet maker.

Got it to restrict the dog across the house. Works for that. The design is a bit eh, and definitely do not follow the fitment instructions to the letter because I now have 6 extra holes in my door frame in the wrong place. The adjusters adjust themselves over time and have to be re-twisted to engage properly. Cats do not fit through the gaps, so lots of little thumps in the house now.
