A gate that keeps curious climbers from wandering where they shouldn't. This extending wooden safety gate screws securely into place, so it won't budge even when little ones test it. The two-way opening swings both directions, and the double locking system is simple for adults to operate with one hand but tricky for small fingers to figure out. It's suitable for children up to 24 months, and the screw fit design makes it safe for use at the top of stairs.
The extending panels fit openings from 63.5 to 106cm, so it works across doorways, hallways or stairways without leaving gaps. At 73cm tall, it's high enough to contain toddlers who've mastered climbing. The one-handed operation means you can open and lock it while holding a baby or armful of washing. The wide walk-through section gives you room to pass through comfortably without squeezing past. The double locking system provides reassurance that it won't open accidentally, keeping little explorers safely contained where you can see them.

I don’t like the plastic hinges
Very nice wooden stair gate I purchased 2 . , I think the plastic hinge fittings will not last . The plastic hinge fitting don’t appear to be robust I am sure I will need to replace at some stage .I also don’t like the fitting that secures the gate , it’s also made of plastic .The plastic hinges & plastic securing fittings appear very week .

Almost great, but actually terrible.
This is terrible and would not recommend if you’re fitting into a tight space. It is easy enough to fit, but there is so much play from the fixtures that it can easily wobble a centimetre or more during use. It needs more bolts to make it better. The threads on the bolts are not standard, so you can’t fit an M8 nut to them to counter this. Its also a pig to adjust correctly, as the only way to test is to secure everything in place. If you then need to adjust the bolts on the hinge side, you need to unscrew from the wall, take the gate off, adjust, screw it all onto the wall again and try it out.

a child may be able to climb over or dislodge the gate or enclosure.
