About this product
Keeps the risky bits of the house off limits while they're learning to crawl and climb. This screw fit gate stays firmly in place across doorways and stairways (no pressure mounting that could shift). The two way opening swings both directions, so you can pass through easily whichever way you're heading. Double locking system clicks shut securely, but one handed operation means you can manage it while carrying a toddler or a washing basket.
The extending wooden panels adjust to fit openings from 63.5 to 106cm, working across standard and wider doorways. At 73cm tall, it contains curious toddlers (suitable for children up to 24 months). The double locking mechanism is simple for adults but tricky for small hands. One-handed opening and locking means you don't need to set anything down to get through. Wide walk-through section provides comfortable clearance. Manual closing system (no automatic swing to catch little fingers). Requires screw fitting for secure installation.

Looks great but heavy
Beautifully made and love that’s its wooden. Looks great. Unfortunately it’s too heavy to fit to internal dry wall. Needs brick external wall.

I don’t like the plastic hinges
Very nice wooden stair gate I purchased 2 . , I think the plastic hinge fittings will not last . The plastic hinge fitting don’t appear to be robust I am sure I will need to replace at some stage .I also don’t like the fitting that secures the gate , it’s also made of plastic .The plastic hinges & plastic securing fittings appear very week .

a child may be able to climb over or dislodge the gate or enclosure.
