About this product
Need to trim lawn edges or tackle grass that's grown too thick? The Spear and Jackson 40cm Corded Rotary Lawnmower is an electric mower that handles medium lawns with ease. The 1700W motor powers through dense grass without hesitation. You'll get neat stripes using the rear roller as you work. Side combs guide grass towards the blade for clean edge-to-edge cutting. The central height adjustment lets you switch between seven cutting positions quickly. It's corded so you'll have consistent power throughout the job.
The steel blade cuts with precision across the width. You'll know when to empty using the full indicator on the hybrid collection bag. The handle adjusts to your height and folds down for compact storage. It's got a long power cable so you can cover more ground without swapping sockets. The safety switch prevents accidental starts during cleaning and maintenance. This rotary mower is designed for homeowners who want reliable lawn care.

Great Buy
Very happy with this purchase. Excellent price for this size mower. Replaced a Flymo as this machine is far easier to manoeuvre. The cutting length is so easy to change with a gear stick facility. Would definitely recommend.

Great product
Great product does as it says the only I would say is I’d prefer it if the power cord was completely detachable rather than wired in

Good
A reasonably good mower, it cuts very well and the blade adjustment is excellent, needed YouTube to help assemble it as the instructions aren’t perfect, folds up well so easily stored, blade adjustment is great, the only downside for me is the power cord could have been slightly longer

Gets the job done !!
I have only used this mower once up to now and all went well. It cuts well, it is easy to maneuver, the controls are easy to use and it has a large capacity for grass collection. It does exactly what it was bought for and so far I'm very happy with my purchase.

Cuts well
Cuts well but heavy to push and awkward to turn. Grass box doesn’t fit easily, lid has to be held up with one hand whilst fitting the grass box with the other. Not as useful as I had hopy

Very good value @ £120 on offer
A little heavier than expected, but clearly a more durable mower, which cuts well, with a sizeable grass box to collect cuttings. Used twice, so far, so good, with 3 year S&J guarantee

It has a useful handle on the top but as its very wide it might be hard to carry down stairs.
