A Superb Well Thought Out Action Camera
I bought this to use on my road bike as a video camera to record close passes and dangerous driving, but have found it very useful for making videos of my favourite rides. Superb image quality (especially in sunny weather) and superb image stabilization. Does everything it is supposed to do superbly!

The HERO9 Black features a larger GoPro Battery compared to previous models. The battery is a 1720mAh Lithium-ion battery, and has 40% more capacity than the previous generation battery. It is only compatible with HERO9 Black cameras.
The Gopro HERO8 is not forward compatible with HERO9

The GoPro Hero 9 features a 1720 mAh Lithium-ion battery. The camera works for around 2 hours and 11 minutes on a full charge (when recording in 4K).
