Underwhelming
I would not recommend. Even with a decent water pressure the fountain effect is minimal. I bought this as an alternative to the faff of a paddling pool but actually think this was more and think for the time used probably used more water too. A friend has one from an another online retailer and have seen that one working well but opted for this one because of collection ease and regret it.

Doesn't really do what it looks like it should
My garden hose does have decent pressure but not enough for the spray on this to reach above your ankles. Feel like you'd need pressure washer level to do what it shows in the picture! The sides of it also kinda collapsed in too unless the water pressure was really high so the water just kept pouring out. Also important to sit it on completely level ground because it's so shallow. Just didn't really work for us so we're back to the paddling pool!

Easy to set up, get what you paid for.
I bought this a month ago as I didn’t want to get an actual paddling pool for 4 year old. You get what you paid for, not the best, but easy to set up and to clean and put away. My daughter and her friends played it it for hours!

Great fun in the sun
My grandchildren loved playing in this running through the sprinklers and it was easy to set up and use . Not having to blow up with a pump just set the pool on grass ,insert the hose turn water on and watch the rim fill up then sprinklers start and enter kids

Lay pool
My little puppy’s love playing in it

Needs an o- ring
Really good after the other half but an o- ring in the attachment so it did not leak so it filled out and worked. Otherwise the ring never filled up with water or worked.

Brilliant for kids all ages
Much easier to clean and put away than a paddling pool. Hose just clicked on and used by kids 1-10 in our garden.

So much fun!
This was bought in the summer and my two grandchildren had so much fun, splashing each other, in the garden!

My toddler loved it, great for summer days in the garden.

Good fun
Bought for toddler to cool off and did that more of a splash pool as sides took a little adjusting to have shower feature . Also connection for hose not very stable

Hello there,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Bestway Underwater Splash Pad: unfortunately we cannot advise on this as this item has not been tested to be a sand pit.
Thank you for using Q&A
Hello Loz,
Our supplier has advised that the Bestway Underwater Splash Pad only requires the normal hose connection to clip on.
Thank you for using Q&A
You do not need a pump..the comment saying the pad can be used as a sandpit is false..you cant pump up the ring with air as it has holes in it for the water to spray out. You dont need a pump. Just attach the hose. Wait for the ring to fill with water, and the water will start to be forced out of the holes. It starts small and gets bigger.

No pump needed just plug in your hose and good to.go !

Hi Aimee,
If you have the water sprayers constantly running for a long period of time, this may cause the water to flow over the sides of the pool.
Thanks for using Q&A
No, it cant. It has holes in the ring to let the water spray out. Its not airtight. And not designed to be.
Hi Marzii
Yes as the Bestway Underwater Splash Pad can also be used as a sand pit.
Thanks for using Q&A.
