Made from wood, we've given it a whitewash painted finish for a fresh look and made sure it's easy to assemble. If you prefer shady spots, there's a hole premade and ready for a parasol.

Delivered on time and the driver bought parcel in and placed the parcel outside for us so that I could set it up with out having to struggle which was very good of him

it’s a nice table, but only bought it about three months ago and already you can see a lot of wear and tear on the table So it’s not going to last at all, and it’s supposed to be for outside as well, the one I bought before last well over 10 years, so I just goes to show quality in the products.

Bench poor quality,. I do have it for about 3month and starting to lose the varnish. The slats where it sits are very weak.

Good value for money
Bought this item as in the sale, only problem was that some fixing are missing. Contact with company advertised for missing parts and they informed me to contact argos as they don't supply bits anymore. Contact with Argos who said to visit neatest shop and see if they could help, problem being my nearest shop is 30min drive away and I don't go that way very often so not that helpful.

Not bad for the price.
The bench was purchased on offer at £55. For this price it was easy to put together and looks really nice however the bemchea are a little flimsy. These picnic benches are often meant for 6 but this is advertised as a 4 seater. I would fear the seats would snap with 4 average sized adults on it but a great bench for 2 pr for kids.

Much better than expected
Went together easy and better quality than I was expecting for the money. Properly sanded and finished so no splinters like some you can get. Bit bouncy in the middle of the seats but otherwise brilliant!

The supplier has advised the following for the 4 Seater Wooden Garden Bench:
"Yes, the product is already painted, so if the customer wants to repaint it, they will have to sand it to remove the paint underneath."
(We’d have to add here that this would be considered to be an alteration and would invalidate the item’s warranty, so it’d be at your own risk if you did so. Also, without knowing the type of paint/finish you then intend to use, we cannot confirm if it’d be suitable for the materials the product is made of).

I took me and someone else with a power drill to screw it all in around 45 mins.
The instructions I got are different to the one published here, the bolts have now been upgraded to a better design and there are additional supports under the seats.

In my experience, it took one month for the wood to discolour. Over the next 3 months, it turned a brown colour, but not in a nice way - it looks dirty. Repainting is your best bet.

The supplier has advised the following for the 4 Seater Wooden Garden Bench:
The product is lacquered. In terms of needing to repaint, it depends on the exposure of the product to the rain and sunlight over time. It is likely that, because it is made of natural pine, a repaint will be required eventually but the timescale would depend on how it’s used and stored.
Covering it when not in use or putting it somewhere dry out the way for storage during winter or bad weather would extend that timescale.
