Family Setup allows you to pair an Apple Watch to someone else’s iPhone (if you don’t have one). This allows the Watch to do things such as make phone calls, send messages and share their location with the iPhone. The ink, pattern, and saturation of some tattoos can block light from the sensor, making it difficult to get reliable readings.
