Durability: As a direct replacement for one which had rusted, I have high hopes this (near identical) one will last as long. 3* given, my niggles are few but luckily I have a concreted-in socket. I would have felt happier if a steel socket rather than plastic had been supplied (more durable). Secondly, I preferred the non-spring clip method of holding the line open, because if this failed it would be harder to fix. Thirdly, no cover was provided. Fourthly, no weight limit warning about healthy girls who cannot resist swinging on washing lines was included (just joking).

Large, strong and nice looking.
This is a large, strong and really nice looking rotary washing line. Easy to put up and then fold away when I have finished using it. Great if you are short on space or you don't have the option of having a clothes line. I have always had a washing line previously but I find this to be much better and I can easily fit 2 washing loads onto it. I bought the spike from Argos which makes it super stable.

Size does matter!!
Bought to replace old rotary airer, I was surprised just how much washing you can hang on it, its huge compared to my old one. I found it a struggle to push up to open, but it stays open anyway, I dont close after use so wont be a problem to me anymore. It feels study so i hope it lasts. The eyes at the end of the arms are a bonus, i use them to hook on my mini airers, no more blowing my clean washing to the ground in windy weather. I found it rotated easily and smoothly too, in the recent windy weather we have been having my washing was having a great time being naturally spun dry lol. Was a good price too, so much so I bought another

The Argos Home Lift & Click 60m 4 Arm Rotary Airer does not come with ground spike it includes a plastic socket, which needs to be concreted into the ground.
You can use a metal spike the centre pole has a diameter of 38mm.
