Part of the Silentnight Middleton Collection, this set includes a grey practical base, stylish headboard and the Middleton memory pocket mattress. Featuring a cocooning layer of memory foam and zoned Mirapocket support system that offers even weight distribution to assist easy movement and improve spinal alignment for an undisturbed night's sleep. The individual responsive pocket springs conform and adjust to your body weight resulting in luxurious comfort and tailored support. **The piping detail may be white, or grey (as picture shown).
Ideal for sink-in snoozers, this memory foam mattress gently hugs you to sleep, moulding with the contours of your body for soothing pressure relief. You get what you pay for , and this is cheap so it is cheap For as long as I have lived ( 56) yrs , it's always been mine and many millions of others understanding that double means 4'6 So I'm at a loss why the "double" I ordered is 4'5 I don't care that a measurements pic is provided..double means 4 foot 6 inches therefore it is not a double Also in description of item it literally says the castors Definition small wheels ...literally 56 yrs again There are no castors , there are feet Misrepresented completely , I ordered it because it said castors so I could move it easily but by the time you have unwrapped it all then you find the feet Find a real double cos I immediately said to my son when he laid base out .."that's not a double" ...he laughed and said it is , so i got a tape measure and there you have it 4'5..you can tell instantly And don't get me started on the plastic grips

After looking around various showrooms we bought 2 of the single beds for the spare room from Argos. Our decision was based on the availability, price and the fact we did not have to order the frame, mattress and headboard separately. The beds were delivered within 5 days of ordering and at the stated time slot. We are very pleased with the comfort and quality of the beds.

We bought this a couple of weeks ago. The assembly was a bit of a challenge for two old fogies but we got there in the end. Just getting used to sleeping on a new comfortable mattress. Plenty of storage room in the drawers.

The headboard can only be attached to one end of the bed.
The mattress included with this bed is single-sided, meaning it should not be flipped over.

The supplier has advised the following for the Silentnight Middleton Double 800 Pkt Memory 4Drw Divan -Grey:
It would depend on the fittings on the headboard being used but it is possible. The base has holes at either side of the base for you to attach a headboard. The standard headboards have wooden struts, which are screwed into those holes on the base to fix the headboard.

Whilst you could use it without the headboard, as the headboard just fixes onto the back of the base, which is a single unit, it does come with the headboard and using the headboard would maximise the comfort of using it.
