About this product
The Silentnight Middleton Double Divan Bed gives you a complete bedroom solution with integrated storage and lasting comfort. It's a practical choice for smaller bedrooms where space matters. The fabric base comes with four drawers fitted on both sides, so you can tuck away bedding, clothes or seasonal items without needing extra furniture. The matching grey headboard adds a finished look, while the memory pocket mattress provides supportive rest night after night.
The mattress combines memory foam with 800 individual pocket springs that respond to your body weight and shape. The zoned Mirapocket system distributes weight evenly to aid spinal alignment and reduce movement transfer. Memory foam moulds to your contours for pressure relief, while the quilted knit cover provides a smooth sleep surface with a medium to firm feel. The mattress is single-sided, so rotate it head to toe regularly to even wear. Plastic castors lift the base off the floor for easy cleaning underneath. Minimal assembly required; two people recommended.

You get what you pay for , and this is cheap so it is cheap For as long as I have lived ( 56) yrs , it's always been mine and many millions of others understanding that double means 4'6 So I'm at a loss why the "double" I ordered is 4'5 I don't care that a measurements pic is provided..double means 4 foot 6 inches therefore it is not a double Also in description of item it literally says the castors Definition small wheels ...literally 56 yrs again There are no castors , there are feet Misrepresented completely , I ordered it because it said castors so I could move it easily but by the time you have unwrapped it all then you find the feet Find a real double cos I immediately said to my son when he laid base out .."that's not a double" ...he laughed and said it is , so i got a tape measure and there you have it 4'5..you can tell instantly And don't get me started on the plastic grips

We bought this a couple of weeks ago. The assembly was a bit of a challenge for two old fogies but we got there in the end. Just getting used to sleeping on a new comfortable mattress. Plenty of storage room in the drawers.

Bed is comfy
I bought this a couple of weeks ago, bed is comfortable. Delivery was awful though. Do not waste your money on time slotted delivery, the delivery team ignore this and arrive when they want, then become unpleasant when you don’t agree with the new delivery time. I paid extra for an evening slot so that my husband or myself did not have to scrabble to leave work early. They were two hours early and I had 30 minutes notice, complained to the help email address supplied by Argos and I’m still waiting on a reply. The delivery team also dragged the bed along the street. Luckily enough there was no damage. Certainly won’t be using Argos again.

Yes, the headboard supplied with the Silentnight Middleton 800 PKT Memory 4DRW Ccoal Double has standard fittings for a double sized bed, so as long as your headboard is the same, you should be able to attach.

It would depend on the fittings on the headboard being used but it is possible. The base has holes at either side of the base for you to attach a headboard. The standard headboards have wooden struts, which are screwed into those holes on the base to fix the headboard.
