Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer - Ivory

Wonderful product but flawed applicator

I really love this product and have finally found a colour that suits my skin. HOWEVER, of the many that I have bought, almost all of the sponge applicators have broken away from the tube, leaving the remaining product unusable. Please do something to rectify this.

Can’t get it to dispense

Packaging hard to open, then spent half an hour twisting but nothing has come out. Would not recommend

Absolute rubbish!

I bought this product after the concealer with the brush was discontinued. It is absolute rubbish! Firstly, it is almost impossible to remove the packaging, I cut my finger trying to open it, even using scissors! It is impossible to get the make up out of the tube. Like othe reviewers, I have tried everything, but without success. So I am returning the product to Boots for a refund, as it is not fit for purpose. I bought this concealer instead of the the concealer, as it was supposed to be shade 2 (nude) like the old product with the brush. However, that is not the case; it is much darker. I was going to buy the "pencil" style concealer instead, but couldn't find a corresponding shade to nude. Why Maybelline decided to change a very successful product (with the small brush applicator) to one with a sponge tip and change the available shades, is beyond me; if it's not broken, don't "fix" it!!

Rubbish

Rubbish packaging, impossible to get it to work. I bought it after watching a make up artist use it who said it was a great product but I didn’t get to find out

Absolute must have!

This is my absolute go to concealer! Covers blemishes great and I use a darker shade for contouring! It’s a must have in my makeup up bag! I sometimes use a bit more when I want minimal makeup on rather than foundation! I find with a good moisturiser it doesn’t dry my skin out!

Deffo not acne safe imo

Bought this in November and wore it for a DAY I broke out so bad like to this day I have awful acne because of it. My skin was clear before using this concealer now my face mainly my cheeks have red spots on it.

Smooth application and noticeable change

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy using this concealer, easy to apply and noticeable difference under eyes and on dark makes on my face. It didn’t crease under my eyes and blended well with my skin tone. Would recommend and buy again

Good multi use product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The products arrived with no box or instructions and It was also difficult to open the little plastic tape and with no instructions I had no clue how to use but I soon figured it out by the not so obvious arrows you needed to twist, it took quiet a few twists to start but just bare with it, it will eventually come out. (Hand) I first tried a swatch on my hand with both shades. I found 1 to have strong orange colouring to it for a light colour. 4 is a lovely bronze colour that will be lovely as a cream contour for the lighter skin or as a lovely concealer for darker skin. I love the sponge applicator. It helps evenly spread the beautiful cream, and It blends out lovely on my hand with plenty of time to work with. I suggest leaving on the skin for around 30s to a minute before blending to achieve full benefits (Face) I used no one under my eyes and despite the orange tones that came out on my swatch it was a perfect match. It blended out perfectly. And no 4 was perfect to add colour.
