About this product
Cutting edge power. This powerful 1400 Watt saw is useful for producing long, straight cuts. The adjustment option means you can change the depth and height (up to 65mm) to suit the job. And it can be used with or without a workbench. Ideal for cutting and trimming doors, worktops and sheet material.
The soft grip rear handle gives you increased grip comfort and the tool is fitted with a 24 tooth TCT blade (185mm diameter with 20mm bore size). The Allen key is stored on-board to help with quick blade changes. Plus it has a vacuum adaptor and a parallel guide.
Get cutting almost instantly with a max strokes per minute speed of 4800.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Guild 185mm Circular Saw - 1400W: It is difficult to give a precise measurement.
With the type of guide supplied you can get very close to the blade.
As you can see in the photos of the tool there is still space to adjust the guide inwards.

No. But you can use smaller blades. But you lose abit from the depth of cut. So you can use a 180mm.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Guild 185mm Circular Saw : generally you cannot use a 190mm circular saw blade on a circular saw designed for 185mm blades because the larger diameter blade will not fit properly and could cause damage to the saw or result in unsafe operation; always use a blade that matches the specified diameter of your circular saw.

Regarding the Guild 185mm Circular Saw - 1400W.
This product is more suitable for straight and bevel cuts. The standard blade has 24 teeth so it would not be suitable for cross cutting.

When the saw is set to 0 degrees the depth of cut is 65mm. When doing a 45 degree bevel cut the depth of cut is 45mm.
