Ok as a basic printer, wasn't easy to connect to the Internet, I think this is more an issue with the HP app than the printer. Up and running now and doing it's job ok

Bought three weeks ago because I’m not the best at setting up new equipment it probably took me long than it should however and the procedure was not too torturous. Once the setup was complete the printer performes very well and represents good value for money. The ink contract is too early to say whether is a good deal or not

Rip off subscription
Cones with printer ink but you have to pay a monthly subscription to use them, the ink cartridges simply stop working if you do not sign up for a subscription. I don’t expect to have to do this. The alternative is buy additional ink cartridges on top of what I already paid whilst having cartridges with ink in the but unusable!!! Also it is difficult to connect to wifi and takes ages to find. Won’t connect to my iPhone no mate hat setting so use.

You can avoid a permanent contract by canceling the HP Instant Ink trial after the initial 3 months (or before, if you prefer), but you must sign up for the trial during printer setup to get the free ink, requiring internet, an HP account, and using genuine HP ink; after canceling, you'll need to buy standard, non-Instant Ink cartridges to keep printing, as the printer requires genuine HP ink and connectivity to work with HP+.
