Can the lights be hard wired into a fused switch? Are they suitable for underneath a kitchen cabinet?

Hello Panda,

The supplier has advised the following for the Camber Lighting LED Cabinet Strip Light-White&Yellow:

"It is not recommended to hard wire the product directly into a switch as it would require cutting off the mains plug in order to connect. Also, the product must be used with the supplied LED driver otherwise there is a risk of damage. It is suitable for connection underneath a kitchen cabinet as the back of the LED strip has adhesive applied to stick to surfaces."

If I cut this can I use the rest of the strip or is it wasted?

Hello CW,

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Camber Lighting Dotless LED Cabinet Strip Light-White&Yellow: ''The product is supplied with 3 connection/corner cables, so if the customer needs to shorten the strip to fit against furniture or round corners, it can be reconnected using these connectors. It’s important to note that the strip should not be cut into lengths less than 100mm.''
