I bought this toaster 2 weeks ago. It was an urgent replacement for an old one that literally blew up! The new toaster is smart looking. The controls are easy to read and use. The product has produced perfect toast. A good value for money toaster.

Lightweight, but effective
This Toaster is a lot quicker than our previous one.Was initially surprised at how light and almost cheap feeling this toaster was , but have had no issues at all. It toasts really quick and evenly too, and takes thicker bread , and with the "lift up and see " feature it has everything we need .Have found settling the knob to about two and a half is best ...anymore tends to burn. Summing up it's a great Toaster

Loved the look of this toaster. nice size and shape and colour...BUT it didn't toast even on each side, so I returned it. My new one doesn't seem much better but i am resigning myself as it was cheaper. Good it can lift toast mid toasting

Disappointing
I bought on basis of reviews. Perhaps I didn't read closely enough. If you like unevenly toasted bread and inconsistent results this would be the ideal toaster for you. About the only thing going for it would be the lift up feature.

Russell Hobbs Jasmine Toaster
This is one of the best toasters I have used with the 'look and see' being the most useful and desirable feature. In fact, it was th reason why I bought the toaster above all others. Sadly however, the toaster sold to me as new (as you expect from Argos) had been used. Being coeliac, this was an even bigger problem as it could have made me extremely ill if I had used it. Needless to say I returned the item for a refund. No replacements of the same type were available. In the end I went to Tesco and found the same product £8 cheaper! It was also available in Currys. In short, a great toaster but let down by Argos.
