New toaster
I find that it is not consistent browning whole slice of bread so sometimes has to be put in the toaster again then it burns! But it wasn't expensive but I wish I'd bought a better quality toaster

Not great toast
Bought to replace broken Russell Hobbs toaster that browned slices evenly and lasted years. This model doesn’t toast evenly at all! With this model the browning is uneven…brown on one side not on the other side. Also browns bottom edge more…so have to stop and turn bread over if you want it more evenly toasted. Disappointed as expected it to toast as well as our old one.

I bought this R Hobbs toaster a week ago and am very disappointed with it's browning results. Only 2/3 of the slice gets brown and the rest is almost white. perhaps there is a fault with this individual toaster.

I have always bought Russell Hobs appliances and never had any problems, this toaster is just the correct size and has a bigger slots for the bread. Quite quick at toasting

Great retro style.
I bought this toaster to match my new kettle. I love the retro style of it. I eat toast every day, so Ive used it three times now. It browns my bread really quickly, and pretty evenly too. Can't go wrong with Russell Hobbs, a very reliable brand

Toasts thick bread, crumpets and regular sliced loaf perfectly, bread lay on its side. Slots are 16 cm long. Just what we were looking for.

Having used my new toaster for a months or so, I find it's great. It handles different widths toasting evenly - thin bread slices, thick crumpets etc. And it's much easier to keep free of crumbs than my previous toaster.

Very good for the price
I bought this 4 weeks ago. I’m very impressed. It’s good at toasting on defrost and fresh bread. The browning can be a little uneven but once you get the setting you like it’s fine. It’s very stylish and for the money it’s a good purchase. It’s easy to clean the the crumbs out of the tray and the toaster just needs a wet cloth and buff up. It takes various sizes of bread. I would recommend this toaster.
