This product weighs 14.1kg without water, so the provided 50mm screws are inadequate for all but the most solid of walls. Also the mount is just moulded plastic so is unlikely to be long lasting with this weight hanging off it! Otherwise is currently working as expected…

Don’t know why l hesitated in purchasing the above. Very sturdy and very easy to use. As l am elderly l had difficulty in using a wind up hose pipe, all the bending and pulling across the garden.The Gardena wall mounted hose pipe returns into its box automatically with very little effort and evenly without any kinks. I had to get someone to attach it to my wall but it only took him15 minutes. No hesitation in watering garden now. GREAT PURCHASE.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Gardena Wall Mounted RollUp Hose Box Set - 30m: We would advise you the Wall Mounted Hose Boxes can be easily removed from the wall bracket for winter storage. Unfortunately a padlock can not be fitted as there are no locations on the product where a customer could fit one to it and any modifications made to fit a padlock would void the warranty.
