Nice lawnmower but, when we first tried to charge up the batteries, both of them were faulty. We had to phone email Flymo and send photographs to Flymo to get replacement batteries. Very frustrating and time-consuming.

Nice lawn mower for smaller gardens
I bought this last year and i like it but the problem I had was the battery life wasn’t enough to compete my grass cutting. I inquired about ordering a spare set of batteries. These were almost as much as buying a new mower. So i ordered a new mower to get the batteries. I attempted 3 mowers each time I had to send it back as the batteries wouldn’t charge.

Yes, the batteries need to be charged fully before first use. For the Flymo SimpliStore 340 Li, this can take up to 3 hours. Make sure the safety key is inserted correctly. Without it, the lawnmower won't start.

There is no time limit of the battery charge as this is depends on several factors such as moisture, grass density and cutting height. We usually advised of lawn area per battery charge (approx.) m2 250.
