Good Free Standing Lamp
A little difficult to assemble the light stems also unsure if the yellow tipped bulbs should show above the glass flowers when the light is not switched on. 1 Lamp seems enough lighting for a small lounge.

Beautiful lamp
On getting my parcel home to unwrap I was a little unnerved to find the box had been opened previously and resealed, which made me wonder if it was a customer return, and perhaps faulty in some way. It went together ok, although the instructions were incorrect on the assembly of it. It looks fantastic, so I'm really pleased with that, however, occasionally when I switch it on it flashes rather than turns on. I wonder if that was the reason for a previous return.

Good Lamp but the Recommended Bulbs Gave a Problem
It is seen from other reviews that other purchasers have had an issue with the bulbs continuously flashing on and off. I purchased this floor lamp together with the bulbs that are identified in the advert (Home 4 pack LED G4 200 lumens 1.6W 12V). However when the lamp was switched on the five bulbs flashed on/off continuously. The floor lamp has a plug in 12V transformer which has a maximum current of 1,000mA. Each of the 5 bulbs requires 200mA, requiring a total electrical current of 1,000mA. When switching on an instantaneous peak current occurs (greater than 200mA) which would have exceeded the maximum capacity of the transformer. A transformer usually has a cut-out protection which automatically resets. Under such overload circumstances the power to the bulbs would be on/off, on/off as the transformer overload protection continuously cuts-out/resets, cuts-out/resets etc., etc. causing the bulbs to flash on/off. To verify the above one of the bulbs was removed and the bulbs flashing on/off stopped. To cure the issue and allow the five 1.6W bulbs to operate I changed the transformer to one which had a 1,500mA capacity. Alternatively the bulbs could be changed from 1.6W to ones rated at say 1.2W which would have reduced the total maximum current from 1,000mA to approximately 750 mA which should be well within the capacity of the transformer supplied with the lamp even allowing for the instantaneous peak starting current.

Non working Lamp
Not sure how to give this review but basically Argos you have a faulty batch of this Rosa Floor lamp. I purchased this lamp three weeks ago , and as soon as we returned home my husband built the lamp...but...it didn't work... complete non starter . Now ,as this lamp is in the Sale ..we realised we needed to return the broken light and find a replacement.. So ..after a trip to Westwood cross ( 18 miles away )...we received a replacement.. An hour later ,home again...unpack the light ..and again ,it's as dead as a dodo.. So ,we have now returned the second broken light, had a refund....and are checking to see if a new working shipment arrives .. Have to add ,the Argos staff at Westwood cross and the Dover store have been extremely helpful .

The lamp has a plug in 12 Volt transformer that has a maximum current rating of 1,000mA. The bulbs the Argos advert recommends are Home 1.6W LED G4, 200 lumens, 200mA. For the 5 bulbs required the total current is 5 x 200....1,000mA.
Switch on cause a peak current that exceeds the rating of the transformer causing it to momentarily cut out-reset, cut out-reset etc., etc. making the bulbs flash on and off. To solve the problem use smaller bulbs..1.2W or fit a larger transformer 1,500mA.
Ive had same problem, constantly flashing! I went to one store to take it back and because I didnt provide the bulbs I bought they sent me away and told me to come back with the bulbs! I then went to another store who were very helpful and gave me a refund. unfortunately Im now stuck with 2 boxes of bulbs that I dont need now!
What was the outcome of this as Im having the same problem..... called customer services but they were pretty useless.... told me I have to take it the store to exchange...... on asking them to reserve one for me so I dont have a wasted trip Im told its out of stock everywhere and Ill have to wait and hope it comes back in stock. I point out there is stock at a store 40miles away...... but apparently they cant transfer between Stores....... shocking customer service
