I bought 2 of them as grt for. Condensation in nedrooms also have the larger one downstairs .a tually makes the house less cold and theamount of wzwatdr collected is unreal.best product on tje market

First Dehumidifier I have ever used. I have been amazed at the amount of water it can collect from the atmosphere in my bungalow. I use it it in an unused second bedroom which had developed a slightly moldy smell. After a week or so of use the smell has gone. At this early use stage I cannot yet tel if the special filter is cleaning the air. It is easy to move on it's wheels although it is also very stable. The fan does make a noise but it is not too loud and in any case It can be turned off at night. The capacity of the tank meets that compromise between sufficient capacity and a weight tha means it is not too heavy to remove and empty. It's that good that I am thinking of buying another.

Very efficient dehumidifier
So happy with this dehumidifier. We had a small one already which is ok but not up foo much. This one is amazing. It takes so much moisture out of the air, I was amazed how much it collects. I love that the display shows the.current humidity and let's you set a target, which it will then switch off once it reaches it and switch back on again when required. The clothes drying option is great and massively speeds up the drying of our washing, something our little dehumidifier made little difference with. Judging from the energy meter it is very efficient on energy and a big saving over using the tumble dryer. I like that it has a hepa filter also, and the air purifier option. Othera have noted it's on the heavy side. It is a little but I have no problem lifting it, it has a very good.handle that pops out and can be tucked away. It also has wheels and moves around easily on our hard floors. Noise level is very good, really quite quiet, although I wouldn't want it on at night in our bedroom. Not cheap but well worth the money and I'd be happy recommending it.

For the Meaco Arete One 12L Dehumidifier & Air Purifier.
The instruction manual states: ''Replacing the HEPA filter.
The dehumidifier comes with a H13 HEPA filter. This HEPA filter can be inserted into the dehumidifier to enable air purification, however this is optional - the dehumidifier can be used without the HEPA filter, this means it will dehumidify the air only and not purify it.
Although we do highly recommend using the dehumidifier with a HEPA filter, if you would like a quieter unit, removing the HEPA filter will reduce the noise level by 4-5 decibels.
• The HEPA filter is not life-long and must be replaced when the colour changes from white to grey (it depends on the environment the dehumidifier is being used in but the HEPA filter will need replacing roughly every 3 months).
• The HEPA filter can be hoovered every so often to remove any dust or dirt.
• To insert/replace the HEPA filter place it inside the combined filter case and dust filter, then slide the combined filter case and dust filter into the dehumidifier.
• Replacement HEPA filters can be purchased from Meaco.''

"Assuming you are asking about the HEPA filter in the Meaco Arete One 12L Dehumidifier & Air Purifier, it is designed to retain 99.75% of particles as small as 0.3 micrometers in diameter. This includes common airborne impurities such as dust, pollen, pet dander, and other fine particles."

I can advise that this dehumidifier is not designed to heat up the room, however the dried air is passed over heating coils before
it is blown into the room as part of the dehumidification process.

Once it has reached the desired humidity it stops but the display stays on, it then re checks the humidity every 20 mins or so. So it doesnt continually run.

The water tank holds 2.5 litres, but the frequency it needs to be emptied will depend on the humidity of the room; For dry rooms, it will need to be emptied less often than humid rooms.
