Disappointing run time
Used it twice. Disappointed with the run time. First time batteries were flat after 15 minutes. Second time the run time was only 10 minutes before the batteries were flat.

Have to admit I wasn't sure when ordering the chainsaw that it would last after reading some of the reviews. However, this chainsaw has impressed me with it's performance so far. It handled lopping our willow and apple tree perfectly fine. It can be a little weighty after a while of using it but nothing compared to a petrol version. The batteries lasted well, on average I got about an hour and half of cutting per charge but again I was cutting through some chunky branches and it took about the same time to charge back up to full so I just use the time to tidy up the branches which worked well in tandem. Easy to clean afterwards before storing as well so I'm very happy with the purchase.

The run time is up to 25 minutes. Yes you can also cut 10 inch thick logs, though the exact way you'd do it might depend on the density and/or hardness of the wood, e.g. whether it's OK/safe to do so in a single cut or if you'd need to cut it part way, rotate the log and then cut the remainder.
