I bought this to replace my last vax steamer that lasted 6 yrs. This one is a lot more complicated but non the less cleans well, but it is a lot heavier than the previous one

Doesn’t work as well as expected, I assumed it would be a constant flow of steam but if you hold the trigger for steam for too long the floor gets way too wet, it’s more of a dry mop than floor steamer. I originally had a karcher steamer which worked much better but stopped working after a few months so I upgraded to this one, wish I hadn’t

Bought in august 25.all good so far.last one I had suddenly stopped producing steam. Did not have heavy use so I'm hoping this one is more durable.

Hard on your fingers
Although I love the hand held piece for areas like windows etc..I find the main steamer hard on my finger. You have to constantly keep finger pressed down to release the steam which causes me pain plus it just seems to stop releasing steam

Bought the steam fresh combi classic at the end of July. It was broken by the end of September. Does squirt really hot water out the side though.

The Steam Fresh Combi Classic is designed mainly for sealed hard floors, tiles, and bathroom surfaces. While it can refresh carpets, it’s not intended for deep cleaning soft furnishings and may not be very effective on them.

To b3 honest we are about to return our second Vax steam mop the first one stopped working and this one has hardly any steam coming out. The floor is even wet very disappointing.

I can advise the following for the Vax Steam Fresh Combi Classic Steam Mop:
"The machine is at boiling point to produce the steam from the machine. The steam can be adjusted by using the dial.
When using as a stick cleaner, the VAX Steam Detergent range kills 99.9% of bacteria* and continues to eliminate bacteria for up to 7 days / Up to 99.6% on ceramic floor tiles, 4 bacteria types, as per BS EN 1276 & BS EN 13697."
