Great watch, full of functions I'm still working out. The 4 satellites works well for the golf app and hiking and the torch is surprisingly useful.

Upgraded to Fenix 7 after seriously looking at the 8 but deciding most of the features needed a phone to be within Bluetooth range so what was the point .. this watch is excellent with multiple exercise options , simple to navigate but only once you have played with it enough . Bonus is the garmin app allows several watches to run on it and shares the data between all so I have my old watch as diy /garden one so I keep new one mint .

Yes the watch should be able to pair with that phone with no issue, and yes the watch can receive notifications from the phone when getting a call (only when paired to an Android phone can the call be answered/ignored from the watch directly)
